Dear Texas Secretary of State and Office of the Attorney General:
I am writing in support of Travis County Attorney, Bill Aleshire’s, petition to change TX SOS rules so Title 8 voting systems are in compliance with the Voting System Standards set forth in Texas Election Code Chapter 122.001 (a.) (1-10).
We have lost confidence in our election and voting systems.
Please decertify the current Title 8 voting systems until (if and when) they can be “upgraded” to include the rule change Mr. Aleshire requested in his Petition dated March 11, 2023, titled “PETITION FOR ADOPTION OF RULES TO DOCUMENT BALLOT STYLE PROVIDED TO A VOTER.”
Thank you for your commitment to serve for the best interests of the people of Texas and to restore confidence in our democracy.
For Texas,
